iminlikewithyou: flirting 2.0
I’m In Like With You. Take a few seconds to get used to the name. It took me the better half of a day to remember exactly what it was called, but now that it’s starting to grow on me, so is the site.
I received a beta invite for this web 2.0 flirting site the other day,and I have to say, I think this is going to be my new guilty pleasure. Here’s the idea: When you sign up, you get points. For everything you do to help people learn more about you, you get more points. So if you upload a picture you’ll get 50 extra points. What do you do with these points? Bid on people!
Users can start their own games, and wait for other users to bid points. You get to pick how long your game lasts, and once time has run out, you can pick from the top 5 bidders who you’d like to contact. Once you pick your contact, you can reach them by phone or by email if you’d like. Iminlikewithyou also takes care of keeping you safe, providing the option to contact other users anonymously if you choose.
So will this site catch on? I think for tech savy teens and 20 year olds, most definitely. Iminlikewithyou is a great way to get some attention and flirt harmlessly. And who doesn’t like to flirt?
