New Music "Business" Model

I haven’t made a post in a few days, so I thought I’d write about what I’ve been up to. Well, for the first few days I was writing music and recording it. Now that I’ve completed 10 songs though, it’s time to market and spread the word. However, if you’ve ever tried to make your music available to world, I’m sure you’ve had that feeling of over saturation. That you’re just one more band in the world of bands that no one cares about. For this reason I’ve decided to do something differently. I want to give people music, not try to sell it to them. So I’m going to try a new “business” model. It’s not really a business model, because it will probably generate no revenue, but it’s a model… Observe:

You download it, you do whatever you’d like it, and you pay if you feel like it.
Basically I’m calling this an experiment at the moment. I know I personally hate the way things are done in the music industry and I know lots of people feel the same way, so perhaps if music is offered in a consumer friendly way, the world will take note. At least that’s what I’m hoping.
