I finally made my way back to the internet and I’ve decided to celebrate with a free tumblr theme. I’m calling it Microblogger because it reminds of me something you might see on Twitter or Pownce. Like the last two, it’s still pretty simple. If you want to tweak it, feel free. Here’s a little preview:

And if you want to download it, here’s the code. Just download this text file. You should know the drill by now. Copy and paste into the Custom Theme box.

Next theme I think I’m gonna go nuts and drop the simplicity and white backgrounds. Maybe something dirty/grungy even. I’m not sure yet.

Very cool theme Im already using it thanks man. How do you go about making themes. Can dreamweaver do anything? Thats about the extent of my web design knowledge.

I’m sure you can do a theme in dreamweaver, but I prefer hand code. It’s the same as any HTML but with some special Tumblr tags.

Hi,

I really like your Tumblr Microblogger theme and I would like to install it (I’ve had my hopes on building a theme myself, but I can’t make it happen), but in I don’t know how. I looked at the text file you provided, but isn’t there something missing? When I look at Cameron’s themes, there’s more text? Am I wrong?
