Canon Rebel XT

I recently purchased a Canon Rebel XT. After playing with it for a few days and learning a bit more about the camera than the idiot-proof point and shoot, I’m loving it. I’m a little worried I’ve just jumped into a world of expensive camera accessories, but for now just playing with what came in the box (alright, I did buy a carrying case and a UV filter…) has gotten me more than excited.

I’ve also started playing with Lightroom. I know there are also Aperture lovers, but I’ve already got Lightroom, and I’m happy with it so far, if for nothing more than organizing my photos in an aesthetically pleasing way.

I think the next step is a pro flickr account… If anyone out there would like to leave some tips for someone pretty new to the world of digital photography, leave me a comment, point me in the right direction. Here’s my first few attempts:
