Electric President (and Michael Perry)

I love when a great band and great album artwork go together. That’s definitely the case for Electric President. The duo combine melodic tunes, electronic beats, and calming ambient background noise to arrive at a Postal Serivce-esque sound. Add to that the fact that Michael Perry created the artwork for their self titled album.

If you don’t know who Michael Perry is, you need to go look up a book called Hand Job immediately. Then buy it.

I ran across this band kind of randomly. I think it might even have been a last.fm recommendation. It wasn’t hard to talk me into getting the rest of the album after listening to this song, Good Morning, Hypocrite.
