I’ve been using Textpattern as my blogging platform/CMS since December 2005. Since then I’ve tried a lot of other platforms, but I always seem to come back to TXP. I mean, it would be difficult to switch to something else at this point, but I just haven’t wanted to. I’ve thought about giving Symphony a shot when I set it up and designed Greg’s site with it. But then again, I see some other great sites using TXP, and I’m always happy with it.
I’d thought I’d share a list of sites that use Textpattern and always seem to inspire. Here are my favorite TXP designs:
Hicks Design is the home of designer Jon Hicks, famous for creating the Firefox and Thunderbird logos/icons.
Jaredigital is a designer, illustrator, blogger. And he does some music blogging. Gotta love that.
Massive Blue is a design portfolio site. They recently designed WeLoveTXP. Go look at some of the featured site on there (You might recognize one…)
Cameron.io uses TXP for the articles on his site. He always has an interesting design. Go look quick though, he’ll probably change it tomorrow.
And a few more: The Geniant Blog, 38one, Kitsimons.
If I missed any, you know where you leave ‘em.
Hi, I just started using and learning Textpattern. Nice to see lots of interesting blogs and sites on the platform :-)
I’m not familiar with coding and complex site editing, but still i like the clean ans simpleness of textpattern.
I’m also a new TXP user and I have to admit it definitely has a learning curve. But the possibilities are endless, and the performance is just unmatched in my opinion.
Site looks nice! Keep up the good work. I love the live preview feature.

Also I love Jon Hicks’ site that you mentioned above, and I will also now tout myself – I have been running TXP for… well a long time: patrickgage.com
