Wordage.org

I always love thinking up the next project. Even when I’ve got more work than I can handle, I’m still going to be thinking of what’s next. The beautiful thing about the web is that you can get that next project up and running in just a day or two.

The idea of the designer duel got me thinking about collaboration. I loved what came out of the back and forth between Brent and I. I’ve also always been kind of fascinated by the “Wisdom of Crowds” idea. So I guess I’d like to pose a question. What would it look like if we tried to create a collective story?

That’s what Wordage.org is. The copy I’m using for the site “wordage is a story, written one word at a time by multiple authors.” The idea is this: I started it off with one word. On the right side of the site is a place for you to put your name, your link, and the next word of the story. Every word is linked back to their author, so you’re given credit for your contribution
