By The Gallon

I found this little list on a forum post, after looking up something I heard Seth Godin say in a speech at Google (he made a remark about how much chanel no. 5 costs)

Gas is about $3/gallon
Milk is about $4/gallon.
Evian water is about $6/gallon.
Hershey’s Choc Syrup is about $13/gallon.
Jamba Juice is about $20/gallon.
Red Bull is about $30/gallon.
Tabasco Sauce is about $95/gallon.
Liquid Paper is about $200/gallon.
Cover Girl nail polish is about $900/gallon
Black Ink (ink jet) is about $2,700/gallon
Chanel No 5 is about $25,000/gallon

It is funny to think how much you complaining happens over the price of gas, when we’re actually paying more for our water. I still don’t want to pay $3/gallon, but maybe that will get you to drink a little more tap water. It’d like to throw out that Rockstar is only $17.52/gallon, over Red Bull’s $30/gallon. Someone at Rockstar should be paying me to say that. Maybe $17.52 every time I mention that stat….

But clearly the key is to find a liquid I can charge $30,000/gallon. Or maybe it’s just selling that liquid in a really fancy bottle…
