It hasn’t been very long since I put up version 5 of Pixelspread. As any designer knows though, it’s really hard to stay pleased with your own design. And with this little break from school, it’s nice to be able to sink some time into some web design work I’ve been wanting to do for a while.
I was getting kind of bored with the simple, clean style of version 5. I wanted a little color, a little grit, and I wanted to have a little more fun with the CSS.
I’ve focused on designing for standards compliant browsers. If this site were for anyone else, I would have spent some time digging into the hell that is Internet Explorer, but not here. If you’re viewing this with Internet Explorer, go find yourself a better browser.
I’m sure I’ll keep making tweaks, as I have been doing all night, but I’m pretty happy with what I’ve got at the moment. Feel free to let me know what you think.
The new site design looks great! Keep up the good work matt!
Looks awesome. I like the transparency and the arrows on the navigation best. Keep up the awesome design work!
Looks great man. I love it. I’ve been working on mine for two weeks now and I’m about ready to give up on it. I’m not a coder! Great job though.
