The iPhone SDK is coming. I’d be surprised if anyone with an internet connection missed it. The bad news is we’ve all got about 3 months to wait. The good news? We can sit around and come up with our iPhone dream apps.
The two I’m looking forward to the most: an IM client and a Notes replacement. I’d love to see Adium come out with an iPhone app. While AOL showed their AIM client during the announcement yesterday, I’d like to see something that’s going to support AIM and Jabber, without having to run two different apps.
Secondly, the Notes replacement. I’d love to see something like TaskPaper on my phone. If for no other reason than avoiding notes in Marker Felt. But turning notes into simple to do lists would be great.
I’ve thought about RSS and Twitter clients, but I have a feeling I’m going to keep using Google Reader and Hahlo, even if we start to see NewsFire and Twitterific apps.
Anyone have some more dream apps?
Oddly, my list is the same!
Unfortunately, the Adium devs don’t really have the iPhone app as a main priority:
‘We don’t know how long we’ll put it off and we don’t know how long it will take once we start.‘ – Adium blog
My housemate is working on some form of game, something for iTunes and something else he won’t tell me about. :P
Anyway, really looking forward to seeing what people come out with!
i would love to see an msn client but that will be not done by microsoft well who knows they are giving apple use of active synic so they might make a msn app hopefully they will
Thanks for sharing this nice post.I will keep your article in my idea.
The Yankees were at the end of a run of five consecutive American League pennants from 1960 to ’64. No team has won more league championships in a row since.
