Tumblr Theme: Sofa King
I’ve been playing with the tumblr theme system a lot recently, especially with the tumblr portfolio, so in the midst of it, I ended up with a new theme.
This time I’ve made sure the colors are all customizable and there’s a sidebar for all your links. The only image included is a little tab for permalinks, and I made sure to keep it grey so it can fit into almost any color scheme. So anyway, I’m calling this one Sofa King.
As always, all you need to do is download a text file, copy and paste. Here’s the file:

I’d be happy to release a Sofa King v2 if I’ve missed anything. Let me know in the comments.

Another kickass theme! Way to go Matt!
I’m going to stick with the previous theme, but I like this one too. Especially the black and white look.

Multiple lines in a link name seem to overlap one another, rendering the name unreadable except for the last line.
I haven’t found anything else yet.

The permalink/infinity graphic ends up below the video on my Firefox on PC, unlike in the screenshot. Otherwise, very nice!

Ahh, don’t take this in a mean way, but this theme could be cleaned up A LOT!
First off, where you have the permalink is a bad place to put it. Why? Because when somebody posts something, let’s say a Quote… it gets cut off. For example, look at your demo site, look at the quote, see how the text gets cut off by the image? That is something people are not going to like. The sidebar looks way too ugly to be a sidebar. Maybe if you added round edges instead of it being square that would look better. Probably a lot better.
It looks okay, but not great. Hopefully v2 of this will look A LOT better.
I don’t want my comment being put as me just slamming you and your theme, you just asked for feedback, and thats what I gave. Please don’t take it mean! -tC

posted on Mar 20, 01:22 PMit’s ok.. I don’t like the placement of the date at all… and the sidebar could be cleaned up a lot. More padding… heck, more padding on everything. Text close to edges bugs me. But pretty cool. Is that permalink graphic a png 24?
