Sofa King v2
I’d like to thank everyone for the feedback so far. I tried to make use of the feedback left in the comments and make a few improvements on the Sofa King theme. First, I decreased the size of the permalink images. There was some overlapped text, so this should cut down on that. I’ve also changed the date to it’s own div element. Finally, I added Following to the sidebar to give it a little more weight. I’m running the latest version of the live demo

If you’d still like the large permalinks and no following sidebar, v1 is still in the same place.

And if you’d like to see Sofa King in use, Aja and Nick did some nice things with it.

love the new theme matt. great job.
quick question, did you change how the date is displated in v2? i loved how it was in the first one but in v2 it shows up as a grey box saying “All content above was posted on March 18, 2008”
was that intentional?

You friggin’ rock man. Thank you. I played a bit with the little corner ribbon… will have to do more on that later. I kept the ‘following’ but changed the date to original. Thanks again man!

It would really help your text’s appearance on Mac if you added text-shadow:#000 0 0 0; to the body part of the CSS.
